In this technologically driven world it has become mendatory for teachers and learners to have knowledge and skills on information and communication technology. Learning becomes more comprehensive if we use ICT tools to retrieve knowledge and skills. ICT tools makes learning more realistic and all the unimaginable things are within our reach. For example, doing multiple task like browsing and listening music. working on a google docs and simultaneously working on a power point presentation. JUmping from one windows to another window. This methods saves great deal of our time. A sun halo

Image
A Sun halo is caused by the refraction, reflection, and dispersion of light through ice particles suspended within thin, wispy, high altitude cirrus or cirrostratus clouds. As light passes through these hexagon-shaped ice crystals, it is bent at a 22° angle, creating a circular halo around the Sun. The prism effect of light passing through these six-sided ice crystals also separates the light into its various color frequencies, making the halo look like a very pale rainbow, with red on the inside and blue on the outside. https://www.farmersalmanac.com/a-sun-halo-12153

Image
The picture was taken in Chokling goenpa with Mt. Jomolhari in the background. Chokling goenpa is one of the temples visited by previous famous buddhist master tertoen Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa. Chokgyur Lingpa was born in Sangyal (Tib. gsang rgyal; Eng. Secret Victory), at the base of the sacred mountain Namkhadzö (Tib. nam mkha’ mdzod, Eng. Sky Treasury) in the province of Nangchen, on the tenth day of the sixth month of the earth ox year (August 9, 1829). It is said that Chokgyur Lingpa was the final reincarnation of Prince Murub Tsenpo,[2] second son of the Dharma king Trisong Detsen. Considered in his lineage as the last of the hundred major tertöns, Chokgyur Lingpa is regarded as the tertön meant for our times, with teachings particularly potent for our day and age.The king and son mentioned here are Trisong Deutsen and Murub Tsenpo, who were reincarnated respectively as Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo and Chokgyur Lingpa. https://www.rigpawiki.org/index.php?title=Chokgyur_Dechen_Lingpa

In the world full of busy streets and bustling sounds of the cities, it is very important to keep track of time and the state of our mental health. As the world gets busier due to its technologically driven nature it has been observed that more and more people are suffering from mental health problems. This is because we lack good communication. This miticulous lake lies in the northern part of Paro, at around 4300 metres above sea level. the journey towards the lake is strenuous and very prone to Acute Mountain Sickness. Best time to visit would be from March till October. some of the things you might wanna take would be : Milk,Incense Sticks and Incense powder for offering. you can also take lots of Sugary Drinks and Chocolates as a remedy for acute mountain sickness. when you are journeying don’t make noise, and don’t smoke. when we reached the lake some people made loud noise as a result a thick cloud began to cover the mystical lake whioch obstructed the beautiful scene. And you might not get to see the lake so, it is better not to make noise or pullute the the water. You might wanna take waterproof and mountain climbing shoes as the trail is rocky and mostly wet.

Educational importance of the given images

The picture above is in Nangka Choling campus in Paro. This place depicts the agricultural life style of people living in this area. Villagers here are mostly dependent on growing rice and potatoes. During summer time the seeding of rice in bed takes place in March and April. Then the transplanting of rice takes place from May. We see farmers harvesting the wheat in October. During cultivating season farmers make water channels for the paddy field. Staying near such environments teach us how to grow rice with real life context of learning. We don’t have to learn from texts about how farmers cultivate rice. By looking at the farmers working in fields we can come to know about the time taken by the farmers in growing rice. Moreover, it helps us to be grateful and value the rice on our plate.

Reflection on the use of ICT Education tools in Teaching and Learning

ICT tools are one of the amazing ways of teaching and learning in education system. Use of ICT tools not only make learning fun but also encourage learners to become lifelong learners. With the help of ICT tools learners are engaged in exploration of various software and windows app. For instance, learning how to use camtasia encourages learners to explore ways of using it and especially for us to use in teaching students. Another tool of ICT can be use of VLE where tutors can open discussion forum and students can avail reading materials. Students can also open a discussion related to learning contents. We can upload multimedia and avail them as well. ICT can also be used in pandemic where people cannot learn face to face. For such situations ICT tools are most effective to use and learn. We can have online classes and conduct exams as well. Use of some other video making tools like canva, capcut and kinemaster are also effective in teaching and learning. With the help of these apps

Reflection paper on ICT in education

The use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) can impact students learning if teachers are digitally literate and understands how to integrate it into the curriculum. Use of ICT tools in colleges, universities and schools helps in effective dissemination of knowledge and skills. ICT tools can be used to communicate, create, disseminate, store, and manage information. In some contexts, ICT has also become integral to the teaching-learning interaction, through such approaches as replacing chalkboards with interactive digital whiteboards, using students’ own smart phones or other devices for learning during class time, and the “flipped classroom” model where students watch lectures at home on the computer and use classroom time for more interactive exercises. Flipped Classrooms: The flipped classroom model involves lecture and practices at home via computer-guided instruction and interactive learning activities in class, which allows for an expanded curriculum.
